Question for the day: Have you ever met an angel?

What can we pray with YOU about today?

Good morning,

This is just a reminder that every day, while we are studying God’s Word to add to our website, someone from our ministry, Dysmas Conduit, is holding you up before the Lord in prayer. May He greatly bless you today as you pursue His will and He is glorified through you.

God’s blessings, our love,

George & Sidney Granger

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS:

Please pray for Mike and Sandy Brommer as they spread the Lord’s Seed and witness to His glory while on the road today. Please pray also that the Lord will lead them to Kingdom-profitable loads to carry, and that He grants them safe passage today as they travel from Texas to Connecticut.

Please continue to pray for Billy Hamburg. He had another surgery and two more tumors were discovered. Discussion is forthcoming concerning bladder removal. Please pray for the Lord’s Hand to help him overcome his anxiety as well as the cancer.

My son, Sean just lost his job yesterday. He and his wife Carole and step-daughter live in Evanston, WY. Please pray for God's direction on his job search and peace for the family during these uncertain times. Thank you in advance for what God will do [through your prayers] for Sean and his family and all your support. In God's service, --Karen Bauer

Please pray for 6-month-old Keegan,

His oxygen saturation has been between 60% - 75%, and his shunt is starting to be restricted. The only thing that they can do at this point is surgery. He will be having his next open heart surgery on Monday, Jan 18 at 7:30 am. They are pretty confident that they will be able to do the Ristelli Procedure.
Please pray that he will handle the surgery well and come off of the ventilator and heart lung by pass machine well. Also, please pray for the doctors, nurses and all of the staff. We pray that God will work through them and they will be His hands. I pray that they are well rested for the surgery and as sharp as they can be. (surgery can be anywhere from 4-8 + hrs)

We don't know how the doctors have so much stamina. They have told us there is a chance he will have to have a pace maker since part of the heart may not be big enough for the conduit so they will have to make it larger. This may cut into the "electrical" system of the heart. We pray that this will not happen and they will be able to do the surgery without any problems and they are blessed with everything they need. We will be blessed even if this does happen and we have our son and he is able to have the procedure and grow big and strong. Our Cardiologist has told us that this will be a very "demanding" surgery for the surgeons. So the head of cardiac surgery will be assisting Keegan's surgeon.
Please pray that all goes well for our little man. Our doctor told us that he should have a 5 day hospital stay but that is what they said last time and it was 28 days....

Thank you for your continued prayers. We will e-mail as soon as we know how he is doing after the surgery. God Bless. --David & Traci

What about Angels?

Sunday, January 10, 2010

Angels are mentioned in nearly every book of the Bible.

But what do you know about these heavenly creatures?
