Question for the day:

Ever tried to break free from something destructive in your life?

What can we pray with YOU about today?

Good morning,

This is just a reminder that every day, while we are studying God’s Word to add to our website, someone from our ministry, Dysmas Conduit, is holding you up before the Lord in prayer. May He greatly bless you today as you pursue His will and He is glorified through you.

God’s blessings, our love,

George & Sidney Granger

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS:

Please pray for Mike and Sandy Brommer as they spread the Lord’s Seed and witness to His glory while on the road today. Please pray also that the Lord will lead them to Kingdom-profitable loads to carry, and that He grants them safe passage today.

Mike Brommer is asking for the Lord’s guidance regarding their finances.

Devotional thought

from the messages of Adrian Rogers

Don't Try to Hurry the Harvest

BIBLE MEDITATION:
James 5:7b - “... the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Sometimes the things that count the most seem to take the longest to get here. Some giant sequoias in California are 300 feet tall. That’s the height of a 30 story building! Yet each one began with the smallest of seeds that began growing and maturing since before the time of Christ! That’s a long time. You may say that you’re going to serve God. Then you start to do something for Him, but when you don’t reap a harvest immediately, you get discouraged. Don’t try to hurry the harvest. In due season, you will reap.

ACTION POINT:
Have you shared Christ with people and yet they haven’t been saved? Read Isaiah 55:11 and Romans 10:13 and receive His encouragement.

Breaking Free From Sin

The Bible teaches that you, me, everyone

is born a slave to something more addictive than alcohol,

and more destructive than the worst illegal drug.

I'm talking about sin. How do you break its hold?

Consider that as John MacArthur arms you for the war on sin,

today on Grace to You Weekend with John MacArthur.
