Question for the day: How can you tell when someone has it all together?

WE’RE PRAYING FOR YOU TODAY…

Good morning,

This is just a reminder that every day, while we are studying God’s Word to add to our website, someone from our ministry, Dysmas Conduit, is holding you up before the Lord in prayer. May He greatly bless you today as you pursue His will and He is glorified through you.

God’s blessings, our love,

George & Sidney Granger

Bob was in a car accident Thurs. 4-9-09 at about 6pm in Midland. Someone ran a stop light at about 50 mph and hit him in the driver side door and flipped his Cutlass on its roof. He was hanging upside down by his seatbelt. The jaws of life had to be used to remove him. He was taken to Midland Hospital and then transported to St. Mary's. He has about 6 broken ribs on his right side, collapsed lung, broken pelvis and broken wings on his vertebrae.

Update:

Friday, June 26, 2:41 PM - Wendi:

Sorry for the delay in updates... we have been busy with vacation bible school this week, what a blessing to see so many kids learning about Jesus! Pop is still doing great and is ready to make his move to Midland Rehab, he will be there Monday! He is so very excited to get going with all his therapies (just wait until they have him folding towels and doing dishes!!!). He, again, just is thanking God for all of you and for all of the healing that has taken place! Hallelujah!

Yesterday was an exciting day for him. He found out a member of one of the congregations was in the same hospital but on the 6th floor. He asked his nurse if he could go see him and she wheeled him down there and he made his first hospital visit since the accident! He was so over-joyed that he could be encouraging someone else and sharing Gods' love with him! Once I have info on where this inpatient rehab is and when he can have visitors, I will post it. The only thing he told me is that it will be further for us to visit, but closer for others (nice, huh?!) I just want him where he will get the care he needs! Again, thanks for all the prayers, GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO WE!

Please pray for Billy Hamburg, whose doctors found 5 tumors in his bladder. He's supposed to have surgery June 29th--we'll know more then, and keep you posted as soon as we know anything.

The appearance of prosperity and power may cause you to think

that the person who displays it has it all together.

As we'll hear on Truth For Life Weekend,

appearances can be deceiving.

Hear more of the story of King David from Psalm 32

when you join Pastor Alistair Begg for today's broadcast of

Truth For Life Weekend.

Series: The Missing Peace

Psalm 32:3-4

When I kept silent, my bones became brittle
from my groaning all day long.

For day and night Your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was drained
as in the summer's heat. Selah
